Terms of Service & Sale

Campley Holdings Ltd (United Kingdom) · Contact: legal@pitchnoir.agency · Last updated: 1 August 2026

These terms govern your use of PitchNoir (the agency-building game at pitchnoir.agency) and every purchase made in it. By creating an account, playing, or buying anything, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. The service

PitchNoir is an online game operated by Campley Holdings Ltd ("we", "us"). We provide the game, its mini-games (including pool, golf, and the arcade), cosmetic content, and optional paid items. The game is in active development: features, balance, content and prices change, and we may add, alter or retire parts of the service at any time.

2. Your account

3. Virtual items and currency

4. Payments

Immediate delivery — your 14-day cooling-off right. Purchases are digital content delivered immediately: coins, items and unlocks are credited as soon as payment is confirmed. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have a 14-day right to cancel. By completing a purchase you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right to cancel once delivery has begun (i.e. once the coins or item hit your account). This consent is collected at checkout.

5. Refunds, reversals and chargebacks

5a. Credits — what they are, and what happens to unspent ones

6. Fair play

7. Ownership

PitchNoir — its code, art, film, music, characters (including Marlowe), names and branding — belongs to Campley Holdings Ltd or its licensors. You get a personal, non-commercial licence to play; nothing transfers ownership to you. You keep ownership of text you write in the game, and grant us a licence to use it to operate the service.

7a. AI-generated content

PitchNoir is made with artificial intelligence, and almost everything in it is synthetic. Marlowe Frost and every other character are AI-generated: their faces, their voices and their performances were produced by generative models. They are not real people, no real individual is depicted, and no part of the game is a recording of a real event. When a character speaks to you, no human is on the other side.

The clients, brands, awards and campaigns in the game are invented. Where any of them resembles a real company, it is satire, not a statement of fact about that company.

We label synthetic media both visibly and in machine-readable form, as required by Article 50 of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689). The full detail — what is generated, by what, how it is marked, and what we deliberately do not do — is in our AI Transparency Notice, which forms part of these terms.

You may not strip or falsify those labels, present PitchNoir's synthetic media as genuine footage of real people or events, or use it to create material that does so.

8. Availability and liability

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. In short: privacy-respecting analytics, no sale of personal data, and payment details stay with Stripe.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged in the game or by email. Continuing to play after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. The version at pitchnoir.agency/terms is always the current one.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction — though if you are a consumer you keep any mandatory protections and forum rights of your country of residence.
